Last week Israel began its third national lockdown since the start of the virus outbreak, but the closure has been slammed as ineffective and full of holes, including schools and workplaces remaining largely open and a lack of enforcement.
“We will demand a full-blown lockdown for two weeks,” he said. “We need to deal one strong blow to morbidity rates and embark on a new path together.”
Calls for a full lockdown also came from a newly formed broad representation of the country’s commercial sector, which issued a deadline to the government that unless it applies the measure within 24 hours to significantly bring down coronavirus infection numbers, businesses will ignore current closure orders and open en masse at the beginning of next week.
The Israel Commerce Forum was established to unite national commerce, shopping mall, markets, and restaurant organizations in confronting government policy during the lockdown. At a Tel Aviv press conference, leading figures from its member organizations said they were prepared to back a full lockdown to replace the ongoing porous closure for the sake of driving down numbers to enable opening commerce in the near future.

They’re now over 10% vaccinated and they’re adding another 10% per week, so the numbers should drop regardless of lockdowns or not. By the way, we’re still trying vaccinate our first 1%.

When it has been revealed the Covid tests identify cold and flu as Covid, sure, rely on these fake tests to shut your economy down. The tests are way too sensitive, and identify antibodies from colds and flu you have or had years before as Covid 19. This has been attested to by University virologist/biologists.
Time seems right for that man to appear on the world stage who will fix everything.
I must admit to being surprised by Israel. You would think they would know by now that lock down only delay and not stop the spread of the virus (any virus) in addition to the lock downs specific problems of increasing family related violence, depression, anxiety, drug use and on and on.

Surely you are not comparing us to Israel as far as inoculation rate? Israel has 9 million inhabitants while we have 330 million or about 36x more.
They have vaccinated about 900,000 while we have vaccinated almost 3.5 MILLION which looks to me like 2-6 million more than Israel.
Only 3433 total deaths in Israel. Over 1 million vaccinated so far.

1. Much of their favorable number is in the math. If there were a nation of, say, 10 people and a doctor snuck-in 10 vaccines from the USA, they would be able to vaccinate 100% of their population in only 10 minutes.
2. Israel has done an even better job of using fear to destroy itself than we have in the USA.
The LEFT blames Trump for anything and everything COVID related so I guess he F’ed up Israel too. Shame on him. Trump has royally F’ed up the world I guess..:)
So if you locked everyone down twice already, what makes you think the third time will work?

The world is one insane leader away from Khmer Rouge level cleansing of unwanted people.
All of these ‘destroy the economy’ types need to hanged from streetlights and left to rot.
