Absolutely nothing makes me confident. However I do believe in the Constitution and a Gd who has rewarded us when we stick to it. We are a people who seek freedom for ourselves and others. We have made many mistakes but I have inner faith Americans will seek Good and Right. We need to learn more about liberty and I wish this wasn’t the way to teach our children, but they will learn.
As a nation we've had some nasty situations. We usually come out of it ok, sometimes better. Goldwater's thrashing in 64 gave us Reagan 16 years later. My Dad thought we were doomed with Carter. It feels like we are doomed again. And yes, I get it...fraud is a hard thing to undo. And yet, throughout history, humanity finds a way.
I find it comical, bordering on shameful, that a wise and tactical bunch like Deplorables, think there is no way we can defeat thieving Dems. Really? When did we become castrati? Are we now feckless? Shall we scream at the sky like Hillary followers?
I'll be honest...I don't know the specific contours of how to reclaim America. But I also know that, on Dec 8, 1941, nobody was thinking "oh, we will just nuke Japan and land at Normandy to save the day." The victory path and strategy emerge over time, but you don't get there by chanting "we are doooooomed." Indeed, the children of Deplorables are listening...what will THEY takeaway from this moment? That their parents are NeverTrumper-like, who want cheese with their whine? Or, will they see that their parents are ingenious tacticians and master strategists, who are not just planning for themselves but their progeny?
