This is because they know they will not be let inside the Whitehouse and apparently nobody was buying inauguration tickets to see the guy who got 80 million votes. Nobody was going to show up.
It will either be cheering Trump fans or in “peaceful” protest, depending who is being inaugurated. Same attendees.
Could have left the stands up... I’m sure that the real president (who likes saving the taxpayer dollars) would appreciate not having to redo the assembly of them.
