USA Today claimed Tuesday that Georgia Senate Democrat candidate Raphael Warnock’s sermon calling for America to “repent for its worship of whiteness” is “missing context.”
USA Today wrote how Warnock has come under “intense scrutiny from conservative groups who seek to paint Warnock’s religious sermons as radical.”
The outlet claimed that the video of Warnock’s controversial remarks is “missing context” from the rest of his sermon.
Warnock said in an address at Atlanta’s Candler School of Theology right before the 2016 presidential election, “America needs to repent for its worship of whiteness on full display.”
USA Today claimed Warnock’s use of “whiteness” is merely an academic term.
Citing the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the outlet claimed whiteness is “the way that white people, their customs, culture, and beliefs operate as the standard by which all other groups are compared.”
Andra Gillespie, the director of the James Weldon Johnson Institute for Race and Difference at Emory University, told USA Today, “It is not meant to be a structural attack on white people.”
The director for the Institute for Race and Difference also said Warnock is “trying to offer a very pointed critique of a white supremacist culture that privileges whiteness above all other types of people.”
USA Today added that “Warnock’s comments were not advocating anti-white bias.”

Whites came from Europe; they worshipped Christ and left Europe so they could worship Christ without the interference of “princes and popes.” Africans were still doing tribal religion at the time. The received culture of Europe was a culture of Christendom, not of skin color; and when it became corrupted in Europe, it spawned a new dawn in the New World. Blacks have been welcome to join in worshipping Christ and His creation. What’s so white about that?
These people are continually beating White Supremacy into my
head. One of these days I may just go with it.
Look at what the alternatives are. Need I say more?
All I see is worship of blackness. I would rather see worship of the individual instead of groups, particularly perpetually aggreived groups. It’s a dystopian reality we live in.
This from the people who bought wigs for the last forty years so they could have 'white people's hair'... and bought beauty products to bleach their skin whiter, (BTW - THIS IS THE SAME AS BLACKFACE AND JUST AS INSULTING) and have names for 'shades of blackness' from coffee and chocolate to black.
Do white people have names for different shades of 'whiteness with the whitest being best? Hell NO we don't.
And this weirdness - WHICH WE DID NOT START OR APPROVE OF OR EVEN THAT AWARE OF - is done by almost ALL 'people of color'... from Arabs to Africans to Asians.
It's NOT us causing this it's the 'people of color' doing it ...
So please NO MORE WHITE FACE. Wear your own damn hair. Don't bleach your skin. Be proud of who you are. And Asians - don't have eye surgery to get 'white eyes' - it's insulting... be proud of what God made you...
And STOP blaming us for YOUR feelings of inferiority. You're putting that out - not us. And while you're at it - have more concern for the victims in your communities than concern for your criminals...
It is nuanced bigotry and hate, y’see.

But it is funded by our tax dollars.
Their percentage is declining because hispanic numbers are rising
>>Warnock needs to get a genetic test and have himself “embarrassed” at to how much White is rolling around in his veins.
Louis Farrakhan spouts the “white devils were bred to be the purest concentration of all evil in the world” historical nonsense. Someone needs to check out Louie’s DNA.

well hell with racist black anarchist
Black peoples are less than 10% of total population.
That's the infuriating part.
The sad part is that thing has been around since 1990 and is being taught in a number of "black" colleges.
