These 20 states will raise their minimum wage by January 1

Twenty states are raising their minimum wage rates — some by pennies,
others by a dollar or more — as part of previously-scheduled efforts
to adjust for cost-of-living gains or to ratchet up toward goals like
$15-an-hour minimum pay.

In New Mexico, the minimum wage will increase to $10.50, up $1.50
from the current $9 wage. And in California, the rate for employers
with 26 workers or more will rise from $13 to $14 an hour, the highest
state-wide baseline in the country. In Minnesota, the gain is just
8 cents, to a $10.08 hourly rate for large employers.

When you walk into a BK and the whopper menu deal (currently at $6.49) cost $10...it’ll be time to flip back to a baloney sandwich bag from the wife.

Florida going to $15/hr. Disgusting. Lots of local businesses are already talking about cutting staff and increasing prices.

Don’t let the Democrats blame the resulting unemployment or price increases on Trump.

ALL Socialist Democrat ‘ideas’ result in:

Higher Prices.
Robots.
Layoffs.
Businesses Closing.
Unemployment.
Makers Supporting Even More Takers.
Malaise.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat. :(

Yeah, I’m old enough to remember going to McDonalds on my bike and getting a burger for 15 cents and fries for a dime.

Maybe that’s what “fight for 15” should really be, LOL.

Always remember that the 15$ “Living Wage” is a farce. The $15 price tag is the MINIMUM HOURLY WAGE that will offset the FIXED COSTS of the National Labor Unions.

Without a $15 dollar starting point the National Labor Unions cannot afford to organize ANY COMPANY! When the states fall into the MINIMUM WAGE GUILT TRAP then it will be Fast Food and Wal Mart workers of the world unite!

Without the majority of the American workforce unionized it is harder to “Socialize”. Viva la Revolution!

“$30,000 a year plus benefits?”

A $15/hr wage costs far more than that.

The total load to an employer is over $47,000 by the time taxes, health care, etc., are included.
