Louisiana Rep.-elect Luke Letlow, who died of COVID-19 complications, was operated on for a blood clot before he succumbed to a heart attack, according to a new report. The 41-year-old Republican underwent two procedures to treat a blood clot that he developed while he battled the coronavirus...The second operation appeared to be successful on Tuesday but he died later that day from a heart attack at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport...

This is so sad. Doctors told my 70 yr old cousin that covid increases chances of blood clots.
They should have infused him with antithrombolitic therapy and intravenous high-dose vitamin C, instead of going in after those clots manually. They broke up and ended him.
Prayers for that man’s family, for their grief is very deep, and may justice prevail for them in Jesus’ Mighty Name.
This is most suspicious. An independent medical audit is needed.
My first thought was possible medical malpractice.
“Antithrombolitic therapy” doesn’t work on COVID-19. That’s a major difference with COVID-19 we’ve never had before, in my understanding.
It’s not anything like prior abnormal clotting.
Funny how it always comes out...
Just had a clot in my Lung, Brutal Pain for weeks.
Especially blood clots in the lungs. When they break loose, there is a good chance that they will cause a major heart attack.

We need to see actual data, not just “increases chances”. Otherwise, we’re allowing the scaremongers to continue to over attribute deaths to COVID. It would also help to know the breakdown of clots-with-COVID between Republicans/Democrats.
Did you have clots in your legs that moved up?
Blood clots seem to be a common danger with the China virus. I took a blood thinner every day for five days when I contracted the disease in September for just this reason.
Asymptomatic spread was supposedly the biggest “new” feature of COVID-19. A brand new thing, it justified treating healthy people like sick people. Was it true? Besides the point. To quote Senator Reid if Nevada, “It worked, didn’t it?”
Blood clots have been the indicator in a lot of the really bad covid outcomes.
Cousin suffered stroke. Lot of damage to otherwise healthy man.
Also on the treadmill at least twice a week for 20 minutes at 25 mph. Mostly eat chicken salad on Triscuits (fiber), but indulge with a nasty burger about once a week. Most times I have operational energy (as I call it) - then there are the after rum days when I feel like death warmed over. Where's my couch and blanky?
I think this guy had bad genes. I've seen photos of him and his family. I really feel for the wife and children. What a shame. Only the good die young.
Only data I can provide is veteran Annapolis grad. I don’t think covid cares.
We have no idea where the clots were or what the other clinical conditions were as well as what procedure they did. But go ahead and impose your medical expertise
Really. Antithrombolytic therapy works in clots caused by covid as well as any other clot
No..
