National Teacher Of The Year Suggests Mitch McConnell’s Neighbors Attack Him

A man named National Teacher of the Year in 2019 tweeted Wednesday that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) neighbors should act like a “true Kentucky hero” and attack McConnell the way Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) neighbor attacked Paul in 2017.

The attack on Sen. Paul left him with six broken ribs, necessitating the removal of a portion of his lung, according to the Daily Wire.

Conservative Kyle Kashuv tweeted screenshots of Rodney Robinson’s tweet on Wednesday evening.

“Who are Mitch McConnell’s neighbors? I’m just saying Rand Paul’s neighbor did what a true Kentucky hero should do. It’s your turn to step up,” Robinson’s tweet read:

Robinson appeared to have switched his Twitter account to private as of Thursday morning.

Paul’s wife, Kelley, responded to his tweet on Wednesday, writing, “I am so disgusted by this I have no words.”

“The 2019 ‘National Teacher Of The Year’ is celebrating the violent assault on my husband that resulted in 6 broken ribs and part of his lung being removed. This hateful thug is calling for more violence on Sen McConnell,” she stated:

Following the backlash, Robinson apologized for what he claimed was a “bad joke,” according to WRIC.

“I apologize for making light of his injuries. I do not advocate for violence against Mitch McConnell,” he said.

In January 2019, Paul was awarded more than $580,000

Unfortunately the President has no control over who gets the award as the “National Teacher of the Year” but it is the President who bestows the award on the nominee. That means Trump gave this guy his award.

I say we remove, quit, stop handing out this silly award, knowing as we do who controls academia and thus the leaders in education that chose the recipient of the award.

Posted below is what I found regarding Rodney Robinson being named the 2019 Teacher of the Year. In other words, he teaches at a school inside the Richmond Juvenile Detention Center to teenage students who have been in trouble with the law yet he encouraged Mitch McConnell’s neighbors to break the law and assault a sitting US Senator.

Rodney Robinson should be stripped of his title, fired from his job and never allowed to teach again. That’s what would happen to a conservative in the same situation.

“CBS This Morning” is proud to reveal the 2019 National Teacher of the Year: Rodney Robinson.

Robinson teaches social studies and history at Virgie Binford Education Center, a school inside the Richmond Juvenile Detention Center. His lessons focus on helping his students become socially conscious citizens who make the most out of their second chance. Robinson stressed his students are just like any other teenagers.

“There’s no difference,” Robinson said Wednesday on “CBS This Morning.” “They like cheesy, teenage stuff like ‘Teen Wolf’ and ‘Hanna,’ their favorite shows. But they just made mistakes and they’re paying for mistakes.”

“Betsy DeVos gave this violent eduthug his award.”

The award is not actually determined by her office.

The actions of the head of the department of education is also just ceremonial in regards to the award. There is an established process that is done by a body of educators across the U.S. that performs the actual selection of the award recipient.

As usual, by keeping the elected officials out of the process, the process insures it is done with the political bias of academia instead of the professed objective of keeping politics out of it. EVERY TIME a Progressive created body professes to be “non-partisan” you know it means it will be partisan and try to act against anything and anyone that is not in the interest of Progressives.
