A man named National Teacher of the Year in 2019 tweeted Wednesday that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) neighbors should act like a “true Kentucky hero” and attack McConnell the way Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-KY) neighbor attacked Paul in 2017.
The attack on Sen. Paul left him with six broken ribs, necessitating the removal of a portion of his lung, according to the Daily Wire.
Conservative Kyle Kashuv tweeted screenshots of Rodney Robinson’s tweet on Wednesday evening.
“Who are Mitch McConnell’s neighbors? I’m just saying Rand Paul’s neighbor did what a true Kentucky hero should do. It’s your turn to step up,” Robinson’s tweet read:

Robinson appeared to have switched his Twitter account to private as of Thursday morning.
Paul’s wife, Kelley, responded to his tweet on Wednesday, writing, “I am so disgusted by this I have no words.”
“The 2019 ‘National Teacher Of The Year’ is celebrating the violent assault on my husband that resulted in 6 broken ribs and part of his lung being removed. This hateful thug is calling for more violence on Sen McConnell,” she stated:

Following the backlash, Robinson apologized for what he claimed was a “bad joke,” according to WRIC.
“I apologize for making light of his injuries. I do not advocate for violence against Mitch McConnell,” he said.
In January 2019, Paul was awarded more than $580,000

Leftist democrats are dangerous, folks. Acknowledge this and know that a vote for a democrat tells you the person who cast that vote wants government to control us or if not, then murder you and I.
I simply can no longer ignore that democrats want to outsource their demands for us to be controlled to government and that those same voters are ok if government murders us.
I wouldn't let this guy anywhere near kids.
They’re saying these things because they’ve been given both tacit and explicit permission.
We’re free-falling, and we have yet to become a unified, bone-crushing voice that speaks with our wallets.
“Leftist democrats are dangerous, folks.”
So are leftist GOPs. Maybe they’re worse.
The use of deadly force, when assualted, is protected by the second ammendment.
Time to start killing these people. I volunteer.
If anyone is in doubt about what’s going to happen on D-Day, ask someone, I hope you all are ready and vigilant.
I’ll go with you Laz. I been saying for sometime here it’s time to start putting holes in Democrats.
This is what is amazing about the Republican cowardice to confront the fraud. They are stealing a country in the bright of the day! Why would they not be emboldened now to murder the few Republicans that thwart the rest of their evil plan?
Works for me !
Threatening government officials of the United States is a felony under federal law. He must go to jail, now.
Yup. A war is not too far.
I’ll go with you.
That’s way too simplistic of an understanding and if you believe that and follow through with that, you’ll be heading to prison. Ask Michael Drejka who is now serving a 20 year prison sentence for manslaughter and who just had to be transferred to protective custody in prison, because he thought exactly like you apparently do.
If anybody does beat down McConnell guess who’s next, fatboy...
I tried to find info on this guy. Evidently he’s from the Richmond, Va area and last worked at the Virgie Binford Education Center, but he’s not in the directory.
Just like a liberal, he calls on others to do his dirty deeds. Lets see him put his money where his mouth is.
