Between the Hispanics working at Costco, and the Hispanic families that have three generations along to wander the aisles, there is a lot of close contact. (In the Seattle area it is the three generations of Asians and Indians that wander the aisles).
And with the Hispanics - lots of “loud talkers”. I read one article that the “loud talkers” are more apt to spread it. (Makes sense).
THIS^^^
Well stated.
Wonder how many of those positive tests are false positives?
Bkmk
In other words 145 employess tested positive on a test designed for research, not diagnosis. Said test looks for a piece of genetic code and has a rate of over 90% false positives. It does not tell you if it found a live or dead virus, or if what it found belongs to the CCP flu, or how much it found.

Over 90%
“I’ve noticed employees ditch the masks and social distancing when they are on break.”
At my local Sams half the people there didn’t bother covering their noses. So mask mandates really don’t exist.
Mathematically impossible
Unless you have a fraud test.
I shop at that Costco in Yakima but have only been there once since spring. That was recently. They demanded that my mask cover my nose. No other store has done that. Anyways, it seems crazy that almost half of their employees have the virus...must be some kind of super strain :)
..it seems crazy that almost half of their employees have the virus...
and don’t all costco employees wear masks? apparently they don’t work that well.
There must be 145 dead people.
You really only need to cover your nose if you are doing surgery
Maybe once the virus is strong enough to have a presence in the environment, masks exacerbate its spread because particles get trapped in the mask which is covering your nose and mouth. That seems logical but logic isn’t high on the agenda right now.
