Without Our Constitution, We're Under Occupation

It was once common knowledge in this country that all forms of government, no matter how well intended, are inherently corrupt. This was considered an elementary-school history lesson. The Founding Fathers were unanimous in this sentiment. The Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers, and any of the private correspondence between the signers and ratifiers of those important documents all proceed from a fundamental truism: government cannot be trusted. It is, at best, a necessary nuisance in order to constrain the worst impulses of men and, at worst, the greatest threat to an individual's natural liberties.

That this important historical lesson has been all but deleted from modern curricula that now extol the merits of bigger and bigger government capable of manipulating each human detail, from the biological sex listed on a birth certificate to the global management of hydrocarbon energy, is a tragedy that will continue to produce harm until the lesson is painfully learned again.

But the lesson will most definitely be learned, if not through meditative reflection, then through hard experience. A man will ignore his government's trespasses, just as he will ignore minor aches and pains. But when hardship becomes too great, when the body begins to fail, he will flail about and do everything left in his weakened state to keep free and breathing.

The question for Americans as they enter the new year is whether the hardships they've endured in 2020 are still manageable or whether those hardships have metastasized into something requiring them to act. We shall see.

Very good article. We all know it will get worse in 2021, as soon as the Dems take every branch of government, and I hope everybody is getting ready for it. It’s still a little hard to believe, looking back, how easy it was for them to completely destroy our country, our way of life and our freedoms with so little resistance.

On January 6th, the Congressional proceedings NEED to open with objections from the House and Senate to ANY acceptance of electors from states utilizing the Dominion voting systems. Dominion voting systems are a national security threat to the USA

This forces the debate over their integrity to the floor of the Congress and instantly defines the traitors and the patriots in the room

Unlike the US Civil war that was North vs South, divided by states, this upcoming war will be rural vs metro.

I don’t think it will last long as I side with the group that grows the food and owns the guns.

I love these “American Thinker” pieces. Well thought and articulated.

What I noticed though...they go back and forth. One piece seems to say...well, pretty much over and done with.

Next piece, what are you the American people going to do? Are you simply going to drift into oblivion.

Then they’ll publish...All hope is not lost, what is needed is...

Back to the republic is failing...and give the reasons.

Still enjoy their writings though.

I swore an oath to the U.S. Constitution. Not to Congress or the President.

We are under martial law. The Constitution has been has been suspended for a farce plandemic. We the people are not allowed to see the “science of the plandemic/ farce as it would shut down the shutdown.

Which side can deploy the most effective manpower to territory.

That part also matters a lot.

I don’t know how many law enforcement and former or current military members are on board.

Without Our Constitution, We're Under Occupation

The Socialist Dems are already assuming the role as master and overseer.

It is time to act.

“It’s still a little hard to believe, looking back, how easy it was for them to completely destroy our country, our way of life and our freedoms with so little resistance.”

I am 76 and I have been telling people for many decades that there is no hope for this country if we continue on the current path. For decades most seemed to think I was crazy. Now they are more likely to agree but I fear it is too late.

I heard a report today saying that 48 percent of Americans believe there is a significant amount of fraudulent voting in this election. If true that means that 52 percent of Americans are dumber than dirt or they are lying.

“I don’t think it will last long as I side with the group that grows the food and owns the guns.”

Most people, including those in rural areas, cannot raise enough food to feed themselves. Plus the control centers for our communications and finances are located in metro areas. Patriots in rural areas could see their accounts frozen, direct deposits stopped, delivery of prescriptions halted, cell phone and internet services denied and so on.

With credit cards, debit cards and ATM cards rendered useless and accounts frozen, we’d be left with paying for food with the cash we have on hand. Some will resort to using their guns to rob their neighbors. And that’s just to survive.
