Hey, GOP: This is Your Do or Die Moment
American Thinker.com ^ | December 31, 2020 | Brian C. Joondeph

Life seldom offers second chances. When opportunity knocks you can either answer the door or sit idly by as opportunity moves on to the next house, never to return. Opportunity is knocking on the doors of elected Republicans today. Will the door be answered? Do Republicans hear the knocking, or are their fingers in their ears, trying hard to not hear anything, reminiscent of Sergeant Schultz of Hogan’s Heroes?

President Trump is the door knocker. He started knocking in June 2015 when he rode down the Trump Tower escalator promising to Make America Great Again. Some in the GOP answered his call and stood firm to support Trump’s agenda and defend him against the Spygate coup. Others like Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Jeff Flake, and others went out of their way to throw roadblocks in Trump’s path, and those still on the political scene continue nagging Trump to this day.

Republicans are oblivious to the obvious, that this is their last stand. It's do or die, sink or swim. The opportunity with orange hair and a Queen’s accent won’t be coming around again. In 2016, he easily dispatched the cream of the Republican crop, a gang of 16, all of whom would have lost badly to Hillary Clinton without him. Are there any heirs apparent? I don’t see any. It’s Trump or a long walk in the wilderness for the GOP.

If Democrats, the corporate media, and foreign interests can steal a presidential election, they can steal any congressional or gubernatorial election, easily. If a thief can rob Fort Knox with ease, any bank on Main Street will be child’s play.

Too late. The day after election day was the do or die moment. The do-nothing GOP did nothing and now it will die.

Don’t the Repubs realize that if they do not support the honest election of Trump, that they may as well retire? Because the public will turn on them and they will never be re-elected to any office, ever?

Pence is in the spotlight Jan 6 but All the final decisions - including control of the Sergeant at Arms for the Senate - are by majority rule. Ponder this:
<><> Republicans control the Senate and the Sergeant at Arms.
<><> Dems can be forced by the Sergeant at Arms to attend the presentation of the evidence of the fraud;
<><> Dems can be kept quiet during the said hearing by the Sergeant at Arms.

Lara Trump Explains How Donald Trump Will Secure Re-Election on January 6, 2021
Dr. Gina / FR Posted on 12/31/2020 by TigerClaws

The reality is the founders of this country set up a process for a time such as this. So, what will happen on January 6th is a joint session of Congress. And all of the electoral votes have now been sent to Washington DC. They will be opened by Vice President Mike Pence and read aloud for the joint session of congress.

And if two House members object to the vote for Joe Biden, just two, then everybody takes a break. They split up then the Senate and the House divide. They go debate and then they ultimately have to vote to decide the outcome of this election. Now, here’s where it gets really interesting. Each senator gets one vote.

Now we know, we’ve been talking about what we’ve just been talking about how important it is to hold a majority in the senate but we do right now have the majority in the senate. And don’t forget the vice president also counts as a senate vote. And then as far as the House is concerned it is each delegation. So that doesn’t mean each House member gets a vote.

It’s each delegation, so each state ultimately gets a vote. So, what’s really interesting about this Dr. Gina, the Republicans are in control of 30 of those votes. The Democrats are in control of only 20.

So if it comes down to a vote and the Republicans in the House and the Senate decide gosh there was so much fraud in this election. We have evidence of it. We have affidavits, thousands of them. So the campaign has gotten, we have evidence that more people voted in the state of Pennsylvania than even were registered to vote. Thousands of dead people voting.

And for whatever reason they decide they will not certify this for Joe Biden and they vote for Donald Trump. Then guess what? Donald Trump remains president of the United States for the next four years.

Perhaps Trump announces the formation of a new party on the 6th. Right after the Republican base watches their own party stab him in the back would be the perfect time.

Everyone knows objections are going nowhere. It’s being done for the spectacle.

Pence's refusal to sign onto Gomert's lawsuit makes sense in this respect------
<><> Pence already has plenary power,
<><> a court can’t give it to him.
<><> If he signed on to the Gohmert suit it would be declaring he doesn’t already have the power.
<><> The lawsuit could be viewed by Trump's enemies as a trap to stop Pence.

h/t tiger claws

Pence can go either way Jan 6: (A) decide to heed any advice, or, (B) follow his conscience.........

All the final decisions - including control of the Sergeant at Arms for the Senate - are by majority rule.
<><> Republicans control the Senate and the Sergeant at Arms.
<><> Dems can be forced by the Sergeant at Arms to attend the presentation of the evidence of the fraud;

The geriatric, ossified party died long ago. Two years with a house and senate majority and accomplished squat. Loosing opportunity is the GOP way. It probably is better to have the hard core commies in to see if there really is a rubber band that breaks and ammo stores can be unloaded.

Hoping the GOP will do something is the same as waiting on the tracks for the boxcars to be loaded.

The Left’s thirst for power is insatiable. No matter how much they seize they always want more. Unless these cowards in Congress act they will finds themselves in a Gulag some day. For the RATs keep in mind that even the most loyal of Communists still found themselves under arrest by Stalin.

The problem is the anger takes a slow methodical rise to the point of absolute murderous rage before it settles down to calm. Backed into a corner at the edge of a cliff with no options is a very dangerous place to be. The GOP reckoning is inevitable, like fox they are finished 79 million republican voters will move to independent and even if we didnt after this no republican can ever win again, what are they thinking?

GOP? Surely he jests. Look at what McDonnell is doing. He cares not at all for Trump, which he dissociates from the GOP. For McConnell, the GOP is doing just fine.

On January 6th, the Congressional proceedings NEED to open with objections from the House and Senate to ANY acceptance of electors from states utilizing the Dominion voting systems. Dominion voting systems are a national security threat to the USA

This forces the debate over their integrity to the floor of the Congress and instantly defines the traitors and the patriots in the room

They’ll object to the slate of electors from crucial swing states where fraud was apparent.

Then, they’ll all vote..and the next president will be Harris/Biden.

That’s what will happen. The Supreme court doesn’t appear to be willing to help. Lower courts throwing out any challenge despite massive evidence.

Hey, gotta be real. It’s over for conservatives. After a Harris/Biden administration, not sure we’ll ever realize another opportunity to enjoy true conservatism in American politics.

Before Trump...it was Ronald Reagan. Decades ago.

Buckle up folks...it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

If the GOP abandons Trump in this last ditch effort to gain another 4 years, I’m pretty much done with the republican party.

It would take some monumental conservative eureka event to get me to vote for them again. Two of three of my federal representatives..John rino Cornyn and Kevin rino Brady are swamp dwellers...and they’re from Texas.

Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Nunes and a few other good guys are totally and completely outnumbered.

I’ve said for years...the two party political system is a sham. Uni-party really. We need a third party.

Well, I was in error. We do not need a third party. What we need is another party that pushes the GOP to the side and becomes the 2nd dominate party.

The republicans have had their opportunity and have proven to abandon all their core principals/platform.

Smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation, fiscal responsibility, pro-American...on and on and on.

They are none of these things! Yet we still keep listening to their promises before the election to then see them stab us in the back time and again right after the election.

Remember back a decade or two ago when congressional elections were approaching and congress voted to allocate funds to build a wall on the Southern border and strengthen border security? This was well before Trump days.

Promises to fund this wall by multiple politicians...then the election. The weeks and months following their re-elections, they voted to DEFUND the wall.

Scalawags, weasels, scoundrels!

Of course some will get re-elected....the deep state Republicans. The show will go on. The question is how many of us will continue to be fooled by it.

What we need is another party that pushes the GOP to the side and becomes the 2nd dominate party.

Libertarians have been saying for decades that "we need a second party." This year finally revealed how right they were.
