“Young and previously healthy people with ongoing symptoms of Covid-19 are showing signs of damage to multiple organs four months after the initial infection, a study suggests.”
Almost 70% Have impairments in one or more organs.
Roughly 80% of survivors have cardiac damage.
Roughly 20% have brain damage.
Roughly 40% of survivors in my state are unable to function as they did prior to having covid. Half of these I believe are unable to work.

Sure. Its a great survival rate, but for what quality of life?
“Abstract
Acute myocarditis is a well-known complication of influenza infection. The frequency of myocardial involvement in influenza infection varies widely, with the clinical severity ranging from asymptomatic to fulminant varieties. The worst cases can result in death due to impaired cardiac function, although such fulminant myocarditis associated with influenza infection is rare, as shown by previous papers.”

Keep up the fear porn. I like it.
“Young and previously healthy people with ongoing symptoms of Covid-19 are showing signs of damage to multiple organs four months after the initial infection, a study suggests.“
So your fear porn view here is rightfully not telling us that this is only happening in those with four months of after effects. For all of those with no issue at the four month point in time, things are fine.
Keep making it seem like you are using the population of “all who had COVID-19!”
Those stats make sense though: COVID-19 can attack any human cells which have ACE2 receptors, and if one goes and researches which tissues (and therefor organs) have lots of ACE2 receptors, it is a long list.
I read somewhere that COVID-19 and mitigation of it has already knocked 19 TRILLION dollars out of the US economy. (Not all of that "shows" yet.) Even if all mandates were lifted on Jan. 1, 2021, with no further increases in new daily infections (whatever the true number is), and everyone is vaccinated or otherwise immune), I estimate long term productivity losses and care costs of harmed-by-COVID disease persons will be, in the US, another 20 trillion $$ or so.
