Everyone posting is trying to figure out the difference between dying with the virus versus from the virus. If you are so educated, please instruct us and tell us when the recorded death numbers are honest reflections of the disease.

COVID is deadly in certain circumstances and can facilitate death if it infects a victim with a preexisting condition causing a comorbidity state of health.

And no... COVID has a recovery rate on average 99.98% between ages 15-65. Almost on par with influenza mortality. There are FAR deadlier risks in life then to worry about COVID.

There are more deaths caused by accidents and drug overdose, and Fentanyl in each state then death by direct result of COVID.

You're more likely to die from an unintentional car accident between the ages of 15-65 years old then your odds would be to contract COVID and die from it. And you're almost 5x more likely to die from heart-disease or cancer if your above 65+ then dying from COVID! That makes cancer and heart disease almost 5x the mortality rate than COVID, ages 65+!

Between ages 1-15: Chances of dying from complications catching 'Influenza/pneumonia' are almost 1 in 200,000! Between the same ages, your chance of dying from COVID is 1 in 1 million! Between ages 25-55: Chance of dying from COVID are 1 in 150,000!

Why isn't anyone afraid of influenza?

Get a grip! It's a flu-like virus, not Ebola! Contracting COVID is not a death sentence. It has a 99.98% recovery rate below age 55. Wearing a mask won't change that!

You have a better chance saving your life by wearing a seat-belt then wearing a stupid mask!

So... should we stop car, cigarette, alcohol, drug and hamburger manufacture/sales to combat the 1.6 mil+ deaths/yr from cancer, obesity, diabetes, kidney/liver/heart disease, and drunk driving caused by cigarettes/alcohol/obesity/drug abuse and bad choices?

Americans kill themselves and die by the millions every year requiring no such leadership from politicians, attending church or lessons from mothers. They just accept the risks of life/death and simply live by choice, odds and fate.

You watch. A month after Biden is in these same folks poo-poing the virus as nothing will claim it’s much worse and the dems are covering it up and talk about how deadly it is.

I was a virus denier until recently when I saw my healthy 58 year old best friend die from it in 5 days.

I know 4-5 other virus deniers who changed their tune when they thought the was going to die or saw one of their family members die from it.

I am more afraid of stage-4 cancer. It has 100% mortality rate compared to 1% by covid-19 for healthy individuals. Cancer strikes healthy people or sick people without discriminations.
