Sidney Powell Thinks Georgia Senate Runoff May Be 'Rigged' to Favor GOP
Newsweak ^ | 12/29/2020 | Daniel Villarreal

Former Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell on Tuesday claimed that Georgia election officials may have "rigged" the state's January 5 special runoff elections so that the state's Republican Senate incumbents will win.

Republican Attorney Sidney Powell said on Tuesday that election officials in Georgia may have rigged the election to favor the state's Republican Senatorial incumbents for victory. In this November 19, 2020 photo, Powell speaks to the press about various lawsuits related to the 2020 election, inside the Republican National Committee headquarters on November 19, 2020 in Washington, DC.

During Powell's interview on The Rush Limbaugh Show, an interviewer asked her whether she thought Republicans should vote in the state's special election despite her belief that the state's presidential elections were rigged to provide an outcome for Democratic President-elect Joe Biden.

"Well, my concern is that it's not going to matter how the people vote in the Georgia race," Powell said. "It obviously didn't matter how they voted nationwide, did it?"

When the interviewer said that he wanted Republicans to vote in the upcoming special election "in incredible numbers" adding, "I want all eyes on this because we cannot hand the Senate to these people, Sydney."

Powell then responded.

"Well yeah, I mean the situation we're in now, I would suggest that everybody in Georgia turnout on Election Day, and do it again: Vote for the Republican candidates in mass numbers and see what happens," Powell said, adding, "And it might be that they've even rigged the system so that the two Republicans win so they can say, 'Oh see? There's no problem.'"

If either GOP wins it is because a deal was made from McConnell Both Dems should win given the what is going on there.

Here is a good article explaining why Mitch would rather the GOP be in the minority. Mitch is deep state

He and the other GOPe would get richer.

Always a bunch of GOPE stooges here on FR who criticize Lin Wood and Sydney at every chance. Cant have them expose the deep corruption of the Republican Party (along with the Democratic corruption).

Its the GOPE that has prevented Trump from getting elected and who are a major force in acquiring Dominion voting machines.

Yes, the leadership and many of the constituents of the Republican party are corrupt and need to be exposed. The party needs to be rebuilt or replaced.

Lauffler will not win GA unless she cheats more than the Democrats. Perdue, I don’t know if he can win? But, he will support the McConnell wing if elected.

a self fulfilling, not to mention suicidal, prophesy.

republican votes certainly won’t matter if republican voters are convinced by a flaky faction of folks not to vote.

the irony is that the flaky faction of folks will then blame random republicans for the loss, and not themselves.

It's a legitimate premise to think this was the deal made within our oligarchy -- rig the Presidential election in order to get rid of Trump but allow Republicans to keep the Senate seats.

Or it could be the rigging of the Presidential election was a one-time event because Trump was an outsider and the Republican establishment won't allow future rigged elections so long as one of their own is the nominee.

Anyone who listened to the interview knows she implied it as a joke. She even laughed after she said that!

Powell has delivered the goods on overturning at least three high profile government persecutions of innocent defendants set up by malicious, politicized federal prosecutors. She is very good at what she does - especially in the special case of appellate law. .

In the current election fraud case, she obviously assumed the role of "unaffiliated" lightning rod/stalking horse making some pretty bold assertions and claiming to have the evidence to back those allegations (interestingly, her media strategy and methods seem very similar to those of "crazy Rudy" back in the Burisma impeachment days) . Similar allegations were made by others who are also serious people and credible . Say what you will about her, but the media ridicule of her had the effect of getting the information out to the public as purported " conspiracy theories". Streisand Effect in action

If there is hard evidence to back up her allegations and the evidence gets revealed to the public, things could get very interesting. Time is getting short, but if there is hard evidence then there is more than enough time. Guess we will just have to wait and see what unfolds.

if the republicans win GA, the Booby Hatch Brigade at FR will claim it’s a coverup, and blame random republicans.

if the republicans lose GA, the Booby Hatch Brigade at FR will claim conspiracy, and blame random republicans.

if one republican wins in GA, and the other loses, the Booby Hatch Brigade at FR will claim BOTH the conspiracy AND the coverup, and blame random republicans.

I’ve seen this movie before.

Sounds like sarcasm to me.

Evidence already shows that there will likely be more vote fraud this time around as well. The Dem judge refuses to let voter rolls be purged of people who’ve moved away in Georgia.

>>It is not the lawyers failing, it is the corrupt judiciary, from the Supreme Court on down on every level, throwing up roadblocks. All these lawyers with all their cases have accumulated tons of evidence, but so far not a single judge has allowed an evidentiary hearing. None. Zilch.

Yep. Worth repeating.

Typical Newsweak. I was listening to this interview live yesterday, and she said this as a joke. At the time I figured some media would take it out of context and use it like this.
_________

I heard the full audio live yesterday and agree with you. But this is what FR has become. Post s*&t and destroy our own people.
