Nope in that case the members will decide he does not have the authority to do anything but present the State certified certificates to the members...there is no discretion he Shall....must do what the Constitution prescribes.

Laughable.
The lawmakers in these states decided the manner by which their electors are chosen when they crafted and passed their respective election laws.
Just because they don't like the results of this election doesn't mean they can ignore the laws they've previously passed.

True, and each of these states has a constitutional process for passing new laws, which involves the legislature passing and the governor signing.
Lets see what happens.

Article contains one glaring error I spotted when skimming it over:

Michigan’s SOS is an elected official and by state law passed by the state legislature, the person with the authority to certify the election. GA, WI, NV and AR also have elected SOS’s. Only in PA is the Secretary of the Commonwealth appointed.
I wouldn’t put much credence into this article.
As presiding officer of a joint session the veep does not have a veto authority. He doesn’t even have that in the senate.
I cannot remember where, but I did read that the Legislative bodies can call themselves into session....I read it here in the last week or so.
