If nothing is going to result from the article there will also be no result from your post complaining about it and therefore no reason to waste your time typing a reply.

Uh, okay... so using your logic, there was no reason to respond to my complaint because its a waste of time, and by doing so, you wasted your time.

Think of it this way... I wasted my time stating that articles like this were a waste of time, in order to confirm others' suspicions that providing this information was a waste of time.
