Let’s not forget where we are. There will never be in Atlanta, ever again, a white mayor or republican mayor. Every path taken by the current administration has to be maintained as politically viable. No question.
Future solution can only be operative through the following lenses: fabricated favourable statistics, applied political propaganda, control of the media, all covered by the umbrella of the big lie.
Then you will see the phoenix raising from the ashes. The new, progressive, socially responsible city of Atlanta. I could go on for hours but you have all heard it before.
The current administration has simply got the cart before the horse due to teething problems to be expected of any new administration.

Mayor Bottoms knows what the answer is, but she will never admit the policies she ran on, and the people who voted for her, are wrong.

Giuliani used NYPD’s Jack Maple’s broken window theory and brought violent crime in NY to an all-time low.
Chicago did the same under Superintendent Cline and he took it a step further by implementing a citywide unit to flood areas where crimes were surging and put the troops there with a zero tolerance policy.
Because the number of violent crimes occurred in, and to the black community, a large percentage of arrests were black people.
Because of this, democrat officials began to raise concerns that those policies were racist even though they were based upon fact.
Emotion won out (as usual) and in every major city the current mayors, District/States Attorneys and Chief Judges all claim police brutality, racism, and the need for police reform as their campaign platform.
The voters and the elected officials rather blame “The man” for the problems they are facing instead of lack of civility and the inability to control emotions.
They are letting innocent people (and some not so innocent) die rather than admit they are wrong.
New York, Chicago, Seattle, Baltimore, Minneapolis and Atlanta, look what you have done.
The people there have spoken...and they must be punished

This level of violence was unprecedented prior to climate change. Maybe she should use this as an opportunity to finally address global warming.
