I don’t know the source of your info, but I believe POTUS has been very clear; #1 large payout to individuals and small businesses, and #2 - no pork.

It makes no sense unless he got something out of this, maybe Mitch backs off pressuring Senators not to join House members objecting.

Or he got the 2000 but then we still have porkulus.

Did he get something on the Defense authorization act?

Smh

I didn’t mean “like” as in “for instance”, I meant “like” as in I liked what you just said.

Something about preferring good news on the election to good news on the bullshit covid bill.

So Congress goes ahead and passes the two bills, one to keep the government open and the other for Covid relief.

There weren't two bills. They combined them into one bill -- which is part of the problem.

There is more:

Sean Langille
@SeanLangille
Trump: As President, I have told Congress that I want far less wasteful spending and more money going to the American people in the form of $2,000 checks per adult and $600 per child

Trump: I will send back to Congress a redlined version, item by item, accompanied by the formal rescission request to Congress insisting that those funds be removed from the bill.

To: Thank You Rush

Why?

Why?

1. It is a refund for decades of bad service from the government.

2. People need it.

3. There will be a Second Great Depression that will make the first one look minor in comparison unless the economy is propped up while its foundations are being rebuilt.

Everything should be for American citizens and American businesses that are in America and employ American citizens.

Burn any page of the legislation that gives money to ******** countries and homicidal savages imported from ******** countries.

known as the Impoundment Control Act of 1974, specifies that the President may request that Congress rescind appropriated funds. If both the Senate and the House of Representatives have not approved a rescission proposal (by passing legislation) within 45 days of continuous session, any funds being withheld must be made available for obligation. Congress is not required to vote on the request, and has ignored most Presidential requests

Means nothing (except for a 45 day delay).

Gee, I hope President Trump doesn’t go out with this whimper.

Yes.

This is one of many reasons why globalist Republicans hate President Trump as much as globalist Democrats hate President Trump.

He is opposed to them stealing from the cash drawer.

I see it now. I was going to say Biden confesses he stole the election but I thought that was asking too much.

But, he agreed to it all. That really was the problem. At least the issue is apparently over.

Seems like a “ceremonial objection” at most — which will be “pffft....” ignored by Congress.
