SF guarantees combat.
That almost certainly guarantees some kind of trauma and psychological damage.
How a vet deals with that is an individual choice and every one of them will be different.
No I am not a MD. But I have known several combat vets.
Every one has psychological scars.
Many if not most at some point have resorted to drug or alcohol or both.
In many cases the drugs prescribed by the Army docs cause more problems than they solve.
