Trump redirected the debate to foreign spending - need to know what the public thinks - but if that becomes the ‘new’ issue going forward (2020) the Rats may not have enough votes in the House to pass it again.
BTW - Toomey said he only supports the bill because COVID relief is attached - that tells that was the Pelosi plan.
Republicans gained considerable House Seates in 2020. Only a 12 seat difference in the parties.
Pelosi is two years older.
