I agree with that but what sort of procedure is in place to sort through those who haven’t lost any income? How about each state’s unemployment records? That would at least work for EMPLOYEES who have filed for unemployment but there are business owners also to consider who aren’t on anyone’s payroll. It could get pretty convoluted..

How long does anyone think the states would take to pull something like that together? STATE EMPLOYEES? HA! It should be at the push of a button but I’m sure they could make it a lot more complicated than that.

It’s the way it SHOULD happen anyway...lost a job - get a check. Didn’t lose a job - don’t get a check..None of us on SS should be getting checks.
