Seems like a whole bunch of them slipped out of Allied prison camps and all secretly became Dutch doctors.

A doomed society. Not the fact that murder by doctors is acceptable. It’s the fact that the people have tolerated such evil.
In the late thirties the German people became aware that sending an older family member to the hospital was a death sentence. The Nazis had given secret directives to euthanize most “non contributors” or “useless eaters.” Citizens took to keeping older ill people at home, which probably resulted in their deaths anyway in many cases. Also a child with an obvious deformity was in severe danger. It was called the T4 program.

Governor Cuomo accomplished the same thing by sending Covid patients to rest homes, which had the result of reducing his budget for health care. (26,000 dead resulted.)
I wonder if the people who are doing the euthanizing in Europe have addressed how what they are doing is different from the T4 program.

I don’t want to be killed by some doctor. I expect I’ll probably go out all on my own - in top gear at full throttle, with my last words being something like “Oh s**t!” or “Huh, thought I’d make that curve at that speed...”

So then ‘the court’ decided it was ok the Dr. killed her.
The difficulties with advanced requests for euthanasia – people can and do change their minds. The will to live is very powerful when you’re at deaths door.
The practice makes at least me a bit uncomfortable.
