It is Krakow. Zoom in on the pic and you will see it is the last word on the blueish shop sign in the background.
That square has changed a lot since I was first there in 1991. It was cold and gray with foul air (brown heating coal) and very limited dining options back then. No kebab! Student food and stuffy state run restaurants only. Most Poles spoke no English at that time. Or maybe the girls just didn’t like me. Ha ha.
I got one of the last tourist visas to Poland. While I was there they dropped that requirement for American tourists.
