When I first heard him in 1988, he confirmed everything I believed in. Even the Republican Party at the time were happy being second tier with no hope of ever being in control. He lifted me up and gave hope that things could change. When Newt came along, we saw what is possible.
A true American Hero in every sense of the word. He rushed into burning buildings of politics not just once but every day. Its out turn to pick up the flag and press on.
