A parked recreational vehicle exploded in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, on Christmas morning, in what Nashville police believe was an "intentional act."
Nashville police officers were first called to a report of shots fired, police said. There was no evidence of shots fired, but "there were announcements coming" from an RV saying a potential bomb would detonate within 15 minutes, police said.
The recording only began playing a short time after police reported to the scene, a law enforcement official told ABC News. The remains have not been identified.

imho someone was tied up or already dead (murdered) in the RV
They'll test positive for COVID. /s
Maybe. I’m curious why the effort to warn people about the bomb. Supposedly there were no plates on the RV.
believed to be an intentional act? and what was their first clue? the recording saying the third g was going to blow up before it did? Writing stinks these days
Until it is ruled, nothing is factual. Even though it is rather evident.
“Gotta get the papers, get the papers”
Jimmy two-times, is that you? :)
Confidential to Nashville police: if there’s a recording playing that says there’s a bomb, it’s intentional. No scare quotes necessary.
Apparently, as it rolled into downtown, it was playing a warning on some liufld speakers.
At least that is what I read.
Betting this will amount to nothing more than a distraction by the JV squad.
It might not have been a bomb...it could have been a leaking gas line or propane tank.I’m sure it’s worded that way per their legal department.
There are painted rainbows on the police cars
I am nitpicking the text. The message did not warn that there was a “potential” bomb, it warned that there was a bomb.
The word ‘potential’ does not belong in that sentence that way, it is grammatically incorrect.
You are correct. I missed that. It would have been for more correct to use allegedly said, “”
The IRA sent out warnings for the 1996 London Docklands bombing 90 minutes beforehand. IIRC this bombing held the record for property damage until 9/11 but only 2 died.
I don't think it was the IRA (are they even active now?) but I doubt that the bomber was a follower of the Religion of Peace.
Police initially responded to “shots fired” call before finding RV
“Supposedly there were no plates on the RV.”
Likely the vehicle’s identification numbers are on multiple parts. You can’t easily destroy the identity of the vehicle by simply removing the plates. Some vehicles have an ID in a place that is not publicized.
It does not appear to be a terrorist attack..... the bomber went out of his way to minimize loss of life.....
Although AT&T has a Central office nearby, little damage was done there were some brief outages.....so if was an infrastructure attack, again ineffective and really not likely.....
There has been no public claim of responsibility or manifesto released that we are aware of at this time...
If the RV wasn’t stolen and had tags on the vehicle, the Police should have a good idea who this by now.....
Maybe an eloborate suicide?
Not proven yet.
Exactly. The RV as pictured has already been the subject of a search through DMV databases and a list has been compared to stolen vehicle reports.
