Thanks for that post. Courts like to take time out during the holidays so Trump needs to delay the January 6 event to a later date to give the courts time to decide for decertification of election results.

Don’t know what to think about Pence, but I hope that what Kline is doing will provide him with the cover he needs and that he is will do what is right.
I keep emailing my KS Senators, but they are both squishies My Congress-um is a Fer-real 1st personum LGBTer (Heros killed colonizers but I don’t think she means in the S.F. way) so I already know her response...
I don’t think Pence could withstand the process - I remember how he caved so fast when he was governor of Indiana and something about gay marriage came up.
If the GOP is still around in 2024, hopefully Ron DeSantis would be our candidate.
Agree, Pence is not the strongest path.
Only chance is if 1 senator has the intestinal fortitude to join several representatives willing to object electors on Jan 6th.

My understanding is that date is spelled out in constitution. I could be wrong.
Jan 6 is not in the Constitution, Jan 20 is.
If Pelosi gets the job than everyone will know who she is and she will get the full Trump treatment. Hehehe.
