No, it wasn’t.
Pres Trump wanted a stand alone bill for the monies for the Covid-19 Relief for the American Citizens. THEN the Congress and Senate could battle out the other mess.
Pelosi just changed the $600 to $2,000 in the original bill.
That’s why McCarthy didn’t work with it.

If they wanted to guarantee the bill passed, they could have just written one for 4,000 covid relief per person AND NOTHING ELSE, and Trump would have signed it in a second.

Especially since she acquiesced so quickly. There must be a number of things in that bill that we, as conservatives, would NEVER want.
