I see this as a good move by McCarthy. No Unanimous Consent votes for a 5,000 page boondoggle that no one has read. The $2000 check demand is just an opening gambit. There are dozens of other unacceptable items in the bill. President Trump wants a clean bill. The Dims and GOPe want a Christmas tree.

I have emailed my representative and senators to request they back trump on the election and his veto. Yes, it will probably hit deaf ears, but I think a barrage of emails might have some effect. Success may come down to just one or two votes.

That’s a good point. If Trump signs this bill it will neutralize his ability to invoke his executive order and ability to maintain a second term.

Just the rest of the story here....they didn’t really clean the big bill or dump it. They simply added a supplement bill...so all that ‘pork’ is still sitting there. McCarthy’s point is that he wants one single bill and not some 5,000 page pork product.
Foreign aid is more important then the American People for the Democrats and Republicans. All they have to do is cut that foreign aid enough to give $2000 check.
This here shows how important Americans we are, we are not important.
I will use my 600 to primary Tim Scott SC, and if he wins the primary I will not vote for him. It does not mater anymore if a Democrat gets his seat. Democrats and Republicans are the same.
