You probably wouldn’t like the first check I received. It was for $2,400 and was made payable in both my wife’s and my name. Right beside my wife’s name was printed the word “deceased”.
She had passed away on Oct. 27, 2018. I cashed it and deposited $1,200 in my 22 year old tax paying daughter’s account. They didn’t bother sending her a check.
