China’s submarine fleet is on track to surpass America’s by 2030. The problem is exacerbated by the U.S. Navy’s global mission set, requiring it to send submarines everywhere. While this stat is alarming, including the sub fleets of allies like Japan and South Korea shifts the balance of power back away to an America-led coalition.
n the next 10 years, China will have more submarines than the U.S. Navy, as that country continues to both grow and upgrade its undersea fighting force. The U.S. will have 66 subs of all types by 2030, compared to China’s projected 76. But while the Navy’s submarine fleet will be the third largest in the world, after China and North Korea, raw numbers don’t quite tell the whole story.
China’s ongoing naval expansion is the largest since World War II. The People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) has amassed a large force of cruisers, destroyers, and amphibious ships, and built the country’s first two aircraft carriers, with a third on the way.

"Made in Japan" used to be a joke too, but they proved to be most formidable in both in war and manufacturing.
We have great subs, but our attack fleet of 53 boats is split between the Atlantic and the Pacific.
We could make up for it with allies, but we are still outnumbered. That being said we can sink at least 5 of them before they sink one of ours. That same submarine would have already sank several of their surface ships.
A hell of a lot more than the reds can handle.

The Germans had more subs than any of the Allies during WWII. They were effective until Sonar was invented and used.

Well, with Beijing Biden we are a Chinese-owned territory. So basically China has their subs and our subs so of course the have more than the former America.
