Congress swiftly passed a $2.3 trillion COVID-19 relief and government funding bill on Monday that was stuffed with cash for foreign countries and policy pet projects for powerful legislators.
Although the bill authorizes $600 stimulus checks for most Americans, a $300 weekly unemployment supplement and $284 billion in small business loans, it also contains other, more obscure provisions.
The bill adds two National Mall museums, bans the US Postal Service from delivering e-cigarettes and makes online streaming of copyrighted material punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Since Republicans have or are voting for it and Trump already tossed in the towell and said he’d sign it, what is there to do but complain and whine. We’ve been ignored for the expediency and pork of our elected officials of both parties. The ultimate kick in the face just in time for Christmas.

These are arranged groups set up to receive the money, pay off various people in the foreign countries, then funnel millions back into the pockets of those who arranged the funding in the first place. It’s pure kickback, and it’s how the politicians have gotten so wealthy on government salaries. Nobody cares about “trans” programs in Pakistan....they need to dig into who is on the receiving end of the American people’s hard earned tax dollars.
Statues for women and Latinos. There was a national outrage over this injustice. Next up: statues for “people who identify as women” as the TV ad for computers boasts,
Yes, why do we care or have any comment on the Dalai Lama. Let him get a job, write a will, or whatever. He is a so-called religious leader and that is not an affair of state. Not a concern of the US.
Hopefully the president will renege on what his agreement, now that Mitch the _itch is cozying up to Schumer in order to work around a veto of the Defense Bill.

President Trump should wait till the last moment he can, and veto it. Then make the net congress handle it.
The government is a complete joke and now the biggest threat to our Republic. The level of the depravity is up there with some of the most heinous and corrupt governments ever for which we always waggled our finger.
