Democratic Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard borrowed a line from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, saying that the coronavirus stimulus package amounted to “crumbs” to those who needed help the most.
“$600 is a slap in the face to every American struggling due to the pandemic. You deserve better,” Gabbard tweeted Monday. “I voted against the 5,593-page spending bill that gave billions to corporate interests, the military industrial complex & other countries, leaving crumbs for you who need help most.”

Agreed. At least she seems to have principles. I may not agree with her, but she’s consistent. And she seems to like America, unlike most of the ruling class.

I am taking a much needed “holiday” from news. All this is doing is succeeding in making me sick. I have called and left voicemails with the Senate. I have emailed my senators and congressmen. I have emailed President Trump giving him my support. It is in God’s hands because that is the only thing- divine intervention- that can save us.
Really? Why? All the gov't can do it take money from one group and give it to anther and it does it in a way they think will keep them in office. Why not pass a bill that says:
Every US citizens gets a check for $600, payable January 1, 2021.
