There is much loose talk about secession among conservatives. Focused as they are on the outrages of the Left – the cheating, the immorality, the welfare-state entitlement, and the rabid anti-Christian beliefs that put men in women’s bathrooms – conservatives think that these represent the fundamental existential threat to the Republic.
They do not.
Over the horizon lies the largest, most well-funded, most well educated, communist power in the history of the earth. It is atheist, secularist, and mercantilist. It has a Navy larger than our own and air forces quickly approaching ours in size and complexity. The communists hate the United States. China is a surplus nation and the USA is a debtor nation.
Let me ask you a question. Could China prevail in a frontal assault on the USA?
The short answer is no. So long as the USA remains a united nation, with a contiguous command of its armed forces, and a more or less intact economy, there is virtually no chance the Chinese could conquer the USA in a direct assault. If they got close, 1000 nuclear warheads would rain on their heads.
But let me ask you another question. Are they, nevertheless, always trying to take us down?
The short answer is yes. Of course they are. The Beijing government is communist. And communism’s goal is to conquer the world. There is never any other agenda in communism.
China, then, is trying to take us down, but not using a frontal assault. What kind of assault could possibly be successful in taking down the United States?
If you were going to take down the USA, the way to do it, of course, is to divide and conquer. The goal would be to create and exacerbate internal divisions while weakening the whole as best you can.

I suggest that it deserves a position in "News/Activism" because of the important and accurate points it raises. It needs to be seen.

The demographics make secession extremely difficult...It is not like 1860 when the division grouped north and south...The difference of opinion is scattered all over the country...
instead of secession, the battleground states should be economically embargoed. If they are not going to play by the rules, they should not benefit from the US economy.
These state legislatures need to step up because it is the right thing to do. There was massive fraud. If they hide under their desks they will forever be known as the “Yellow States”.
If this election is not corrected to count only legal votes, Trump supporters should not do business with Yellow States.
They should be economically embargoed.
BS. This country, as a 50-state entity is done. There is no no unity, no national purpose, no nationhood and no common goals. Time to cut losses and preserve liberty in the regions that want it, and separate from the diseased liberal states.

United we stand. Divided we fall. If the commiecRats don’t want to live in the land of liberty, aka the Republic, let them live where they will be happy. Better for them to be elsewhere than trying to overthrow our Constitutional Republic.

I agree. We’ve allowed the schools to indoctrinate the masses in such a way that a good number of our citizens actively hate this country and would do whatever they can to harm it.
I’d prefer to let those idiots have their own country, and not live with them.
But allowing even a large minority to undermine free and open elections is not acceptable and face it the minority I am talking about feel morally justified in their theft.
What is your answer?
If it isn't, China will move ASAP to consolidate its grip on the Left and on this country.
It results in drawing ever-shrinking circles around ourselves, each of which that lack of will to fight, will prove to be our death or surrender.

Many believe America is the Mystery Babylon mentioned in the bible and that only nuclear weapons could destroy her in one hour. Maybe the plan is to weaken her, to set her up for a final blow. Somehow, her ability to respond to such an attack would have to be removed or significantly reduced, which I see no way around. But how will that be accomplished? Ensuring weak, wavering, and compromised leaders are in office, perhaps?
I’ll be waiting for a list of Second Amendment Sanctuary States when Joementia and Commiela get moving on their Anti Gun Agenda.
Will the Media refer to it as an attempted Secession, we’ll see.

The argument is: Here is your bitter pill, take it! Bend over to the communists in the USA, because if you don’t, the foreign communists will take over the local communist states and that would be bad.
The USA is nearly done I’m afraid. The way things look, I will be surprised if we exist as a free nation before I die.
Yeah, nope, not going to be badgered into staying under the thumb of domestic communists because of fear-mongering about foreign communists who pose zero threat to us.
There’s one very important point this essay misses: If we don’t crush the domestic enemies who have entrenched themselves throughout our government and our populace, then it really won’t matter what our external enemies do after that. We’re dealing with a ruling class of deeply corrupt and evil people, who are supported and enabled by hordes of brainless idiots among the citizenry. There’s simply no way we’re going to talk our way out of that situation. Victory over that type of evil will only come as a result of force wielded by “good men”, as the famous Edmund Burke quote in my tag line states.

The mere threat of secession, if a significant one, to be taken seriously, would be powerful leverage.
The economic resistance, in the form of depriving the govt of your income taxes -- legally by arranging for less income, or no taxable income at all -- would be even more powerful. You can survive longer on $12k a year than the govt can, when a few million Trump voters suddenly stop feeding the beast. In fact on $12k a year you get free heat and food stamps, that is until the govt collapses. And they won't let that happen. They'll surrender first. You want Biden in a retirement home? Pelosi? A new election or Trump remaining in office? If it's that or the govt might well stop running for lack of funds -- you would get the concessions. Money or bullets, those are the options now. They have return fire, but they don't have money.
Imagine it. The people who live on govt assistance would burn down the cities if the handouts were to stop. Some serious sacrifice of convenience and lifestyle, and we can turn the moochers against the looters.
