“For starters, there is just not enough copper for all that wiring needed or sand for theoretical zero resistance wiring. There also the lack of recognition that hydrocarbon byproducts is 100% recyclable by nature.”
Land reserves of copper could supply enough to build four EV’s for every person on earth. Vast amounts of copper also exits in our oceans.
23% of copper usage is from recycled copper.
80% of mined copper mined is still in use.
No doubt they will call the Skin Effect racist.
“Show everyone how it is incorrect. Maybe it’s only 23% instead of 24%, thus making your statement true but your point false.”
I did. #135. Basic logic. Sorely missing around here.
The dams I have visited all had diversion streams for migrating fish. Some of them are even screened from above to ward off predators.
Can you show numbers rather than snark?
“Can you show numbers rather than snark?”
See my #143
It’s both.
“Can you show numbers rather than snark?”
Not a snark. Statements of fact on where his errors were.
Tell that to the nuke engineers at google who filed patents. And guys like Yoshiaki Arata (who died recently but the point is still valid) who were instrumental in their country’s nuclear development programs. Arata had some of the highest civilian awards such as naming buildings after him. I doubt anyone ever named a building after you.
Why is it like pulling teeth to get you to post numbers rather than invective?
You have a crappy attitude. Post numbers first, then snark. DUHH.
cue captain obvious
Not from where I’m sitting and from any lurker who looks in on this thread.
Do you think electrical wiring is the only use we have for copper?
We don’t have enough copper in the world for all our needs in the world.

I was referring to your post. I have no idea what Arata has to do with this.
“Why is it like pulling teeth to get you to post numbers rather than invective?”
LOL! I posted numbers before you asked! I gave you the link when yo ask. Please don’t lie.
“Not from where I’m sitting and from any lurker who looks in on this thread.”
You are misrepresenting my post.

“Do you think electrical wiring is the only use we have for copper?”
No. I was just giving you a figure to show how much copper we have.
“We don’t have enough copper in the world for all our needs in the world.”
We don’t have enough oil in the world for all our needs in the world. Your logic demands we develop alternatives, such as EV’s to extend that supply.
I have never said to not develop alternatives, but those alternatives have to be in their proper place.
Which came first, the snark or the numbers? Simple question.
” And guys like Yoshiaki Arata”
LOL! Cold Fusion! Now I remember your handle!
“Which came first, the snark or the numbers? Simple question.”
Numbers #135
Snark Not yet posted. Maybe #140 but doesn’t fit the definition.
IS THIS YOUR WAY OF IGNORING MY NUMBERS POST?
