Yeah I think quite a few here have surrendered. Gotta wonder why they keep hanging around a place called Free Republic.
The difference being that we are not limited to “axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else” is at hand...
There is also a new crop of trolls who have appeared who the mods seem disinclined to do anything about. I have filed complaints and nothing happened

Jan 6 may not be the date we rescue our nation from the cloying talons of Marxism. That day may come much later when we are in the desperate throes of deep and terrible tyranny.
The day will come when we will not sit idly by and complain while watching. The day will come when we take up whatever arms are available and fight with our blood for the freedom of our land. That day may not be now.
We may still be hoping for a hero. We have not yet realized we must be our own hero if we are to survive as a free people.

They don’t want awareness either. They are completely dismissive and defensive.
And I have to admit, I like I think I am more informed than average person, but it’s very hard to make the leap to the bolshevik revolution or the atrocities of lenin & stalin. It’s so easy to say that this is all just another political transition of power/leadership, and to ignore all the signs and symptoms that there is something very powerful hiding behind some curtains somewhere, which is probably a bad metaphor because oz was a fraud, and that is the exact opposite of my point. If this whole “transition of leadership” goes south fast, those who have worked so hard to stay hidden wont be able to anymore. At least not in their deeds.
Behind every tree; around every corner; in every vacation spot: democrat politicians will live in fear, along with their wealthy supporters.
Step two if necessary: food, fuel, electricity and water will be cut off from the cities. And oh yes, all toilet paper will be withheld as well. Cities depend on truckers and they will just say no.

Truth is, beside calling/writing your reps and senators, there is little else one can do. We are praying and hoping for a positive development that would turn this around.
Pisses me off that my vote has been nullified by fraud in other states. Pisses me off the likes of McConnell, Christie, Rove, Romney are out there running their mouths.
Equally torques me all the obscure websites and no name talking heads out on the net, some of which end up here on FR, talking all kinds of theories and angles on how Trump is going to win. Spouting all sorts of nonsense, supposed evidence and such.
Click on the source and it’s some male or female jerk-off with a webcam sitting in their bedroom creating a video of themselves parroting stuff they themselves listened to out on some of these obscure sites.
