President Donald Trump suggested on Twitter that China ‘may be’ responsible for the recently announced SolarWinds cyber attack, adding that “Russia, Russia, Russia is the priority chant” when anything happens, because mainstream media outlets have “financial reasons” to not cover China’s potential involvement.
President Trump also said that the cyber attack could have impacted “our ridiculous voting machines” during the 2020 US election, adding that the election was a “corrupted embarrassment for the USA.”
This comes after several days of the mainstream media repeatedly blaming Russia or Russian actors for the devastating attack.
….discussing the possibility that it may be China (it may!). There could also have been a hit on our ridiculous voting machines during the election, which is now obvious that I won big, making it an even more corrupted embarrassment for the USA. @DNI_Ratcliffe @SecPompeo

Yep!
My only question is this: did they fail on purpose?
The Cyber Hack is far greater in the Fake News Media than in actuality. I have been fully briefed and everything is well under control. Russia, Russia, Russia is the priority chant when anything happens because Lamestream is, for mostly financial reasons, petrified of....
My websites are probed by many more than Russians including many people running on Amazon cloud. .cz .tr totalplay.net scw.cloud .ua .mx .de (plenty of Germany) .it .eu (quite a few of those) .br. .au oracle cloud.com .fr (not too many French) .tr .pl. etc etc
Actually only 1/2 dozen ru out of 2000+ in the log but some of the unresolvable IP addresses could be Russian. If I were in Russia I would not probe and hack from Russia. Obviously Amazon has no problem letting people use their infrastructure for probing and hacking. Maybe use them through an intermediary and try to blend in with the crowd.
All 2000+ addresses are probing for vulnerabilities. None of that traffic is benign or accidental.
Yawn. Some 14 year old in Namibia did this.
Bump
But the tools are free or low cost!
I am doing an overnight cat sit in a secured building. Need a security fob to get in...can just imagine if things actually go done the rabbit hole!
I find the timing of this cyber hit suspicious. After the election, after President fired the IT Cyber Election DHS Chief and then we get this massive attack?
I watched Snowden last night. I advise people to watch it. He was a whistle blower, that lost everything, to expose the illegal activity of tapping, wiring, spying on countries but mostly Americans. I forgot about the news media about this at that time, it was under Obama admin. This is why we don’t have people like him come forward. He was charged with espionage, felonies, etc. He had flown to Russia with plans to fly to another country but USA blocked his passport so he was stuck in Russia.
He said there is no one to check the people in our spy departments. They can do whatever they want and not be accountable.
Truth even many years later, like today.
Why are Federal systems on the Internet? Because there’s power in communication and coordination; it’s called command & control.
Russia has been at us in terms of cyber attacks for a long time; this time it appears to have worked.
:-D
How do you find that?
> How do you find that?
IF your router has a log, that’s where you would find that. It may be hidden behind an “Advanced” section of the menus/options. It may be termed “TCP” or “IP”.
How do I find the log? I can put a PC together and do basic troubleshooting for that, but am terrible when it comes to connections, etc.
Do you have an Internet router? If so, usually there is software that comes with your router. (Alternatively there is something called “Telnet” that could connect to your router, because it is widely supported - but not always.)
You would use either the software or Telnet to connect to your router and communicate with it. That assumes you know the router’s IP address and are able to puzzle out how to use it: the software or Telnet must be told the address to connect to; also expect a username and password will be required that is separate and independent from your computer PC login.
Because routers are produced by different vendors/manufacturers, it’s tough to give you specific directions; each one is different.
This
There’s probably no chance that something like this could ever come along and mess up a cashless economy. /s
