Defense attorneys for the trigger pullers are going to have the death certificate introduced as Exhibit A. "See...the victim died of COVID. My client is not responsible for his death."
That said, if the shooting arose over an argument about mask wearing, then I suppose one could assert the death was, "COVID related."
