San Francisco has been under a stay-at-home order since Dec. 6, and has a new San Francisco travel order in place through at least January 4.
With these restrictions in place, it can be confusing how the city enforces them.
The San Francisco Police Department told KRON that “violation of or failure to comply with this order is a misdemeanor punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both.”
Police provided the following data tracking back to March 17, 2020.
Police said the shelter-in-place violations included non-essential businesses operating after being told to shut down, as well as individual people who did not go home when warned.
People in San Francisco without homes are mostly exempt from the order. Police said they prefer to teach people about voluntarily complying with the city’s orders.
“We do not want to use a criminal justice approach for a public health challenge,” police said.
Here are some of the rules of the current stay-at-home order.
Individuals can meet with one other person outside their household to:
Individuals must wear a face mask when outside their homes with limited exceptions.

Have yourself a scary little Christmas
Fill your Yule with fright.
From now on
Let demons haunt each lonely night.
Have yourself a scary little Christmas
Let the vampires bite.
Pretty soon
Your nightgown will be red, not white.
Let’s go lurk where the zombies grope
Where there is no hope or dreams.
Where creepies crawl through the holiday
And hellhounds bay and scream.
Have yourself a scary little Christmas
Bathe in death’s perfume.
Slit your wrists and sing a song of doom and gloom.
Buy yourself a scary little Christmas tomb.
Want to be scared this Christmas?
So there can be imprisonment for violations? But what about how they have been releasing prisoners from prison, due to fear they will get the virus while in prison?
cower in fear not shelter in place
Does this shelter-in-place apply to Nancy Pelosi? Or does she get to get her hair done minus the mask?

Let me tell you something
Everytime I go to San Francisco on appointments I do not wear a friggin mask.
I say hello to 2, 3, 4 or more cops as I walk merrily to my appointments.
I was in the city twice this week and walking past several LEO wished them “Merry Christmas and Please Stay Safe”
They smiled behind their masks and bid me the same.
Merry Christmas.
“We ask not your councels, or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands that feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you are our countrymen.” Samuel was a well spoken man...
Many many people who had the means, have left the Bay area for Utah skiing.
Once again, police are all too willing to enforce unconstitutional orders.
