If the schools don’t get back to normal you’re going to have parents go absolutely ballistic. Of my 7 grandkids, 4 have ridiculous hours, 2 go to private school and are in full class mode. The other one is in college, on campus, but mostly Zoom classes. My one granddaughter in CA. goes to school 2 days a week, 2 days home and 1 day completely free.

Schools are open where I live. Churches are open too. I sing in our church choir. People get the virus. They stay home for a few days, get better and move on with their lives. We are extremely careful to not spread it to the elderly.
My feelings exactly. The popluace is being conditioned for more restrictive measures. Covid-19 was just the pretext. We saw how it was used as a lever to cheat in the elections.
If/when the masks come off, something worse will have replaced them to bedevil the people.
My kids school has been open all semester. Granted, private school, but if they can do it others can, too.
May have helped that I told them, as I am sure many others have, that if they close the school I’m not paying tuition for him anymore and will move him to a different school, even if they are remote learning, too.

If by “everyone” you mean the USA, that’s 660 million doses. If by “everyone” you mean the planet (and for it to be over in two weeks, we need it off the planet), that’s sixteen billion doses.

I have long warned those of here who thought the lockdowns and restrictions would end on January 20 were sadly mistaken. I’d loved to be proven wrong, but the powers that be have no intention of loosening their grip on control.
I switched my teen daughter from public to private last summer. I switched my teen son from public to homeschooling yesterday. We are all relieved to be done with “remote learning.”
CA is still firmly shut. So that’s millions of students languishing still.
