Since this COVID-19 virus first showed up in the news back in early 2020; and through endless government-mandated shutdowns of schools, businesses, etc., the New York City subway system — arguably the worst public place on the planet for exposure to viral and bacterial pathogens — HAS NEVER STOPPED RUNNING.
Just think about that the next time some government asshole gets on TV and tells you to spend Christmas away from your family and wear a mask even when you are outdoors alone without anyone closer than a hundred yards away from you.
Japan also never shut down it’s subway nor closed or locked down it’s.society. They have one third the population of the whole United States at a gross population density that rivals Manhattan island over hundreds of square miles. The whole COUNTRY of Japan has less cases and deaths than just New York City ask yourself why? I will tell you why the Japanese wear masks religiously everywhere all the time by everyone. Sorry antimask fools Japan is proof positive that universal and compulsory mask compliance works. The math and numerical results are simply undeniable. Japan also forcibly quarantine every contact of a positive case no matter how brief that contact is. Passing someone at a store I enough to be quarantine for 14 days they use GPS cellphone data to make the connections and then lock down any exposed. Again it’s absolutely undeniable that it is working for them. Let me repeat a country with 130+ million people at NYC density has less total cases that one major American city and under 5000 total.deaths in the whole country. The difference is masks and forced quarantine. Sorry that’s just cold hard fact proven by numbers not politics nor emotions.
