This week, Microsoft founder Bill Gates warned that some restaurants and bars will have to remain closed as a result of the recent COVID-19 surge, even commenting on CNN that pandemic restrictions might have to remain in place through 2022.
Which makes this a stellar object lesson in leftist elitism.
As we know, Bill Gates is a barking mad leftist. He has made his political sentiments quite clear over the years, even investing $500 million in 1996 to found the odious MSNBC. His donations, rhetoric and political associations certainly reflect his views. In recent years, Gates has also positioned himself as a self-appointed expert on immunology and vaccines. How he managed this remains somewhat unclear to me, save for the summary credibility morons in our society seem so willing to grant those who have money.

they are not doctors, nor experts in any of the medical fields they are “interviewed” about
they are npt medical authorities
the mediass are lairs treating them as such by providing airtime and false legitimacy for them
Trusting gates is likened to trusting that Big Pharma makes drugs to cure not just treat ailments or trusting that the covid deaths reported are accurate (given that hospitals and ultimately insurance companies charge more for Covid treatments etc than other “normal” deaths.
But seeing cold, flue and underlying condition deaths have almost vanished from statistics, maybe gates cured those in the last update.

We all know the end of that story. But most importantly Bill is a college drop out that did very well in one arena and made a ton of cash and then set up gifting foundations from said cash. He is no expert in the areas he pretends to be. Just a dude with a lot of money, power, with Aspergers.
All the high level, over achieving woman that worked at MS all commented how shocked they were when he dated and married his wife. They said she was not very bright.
Bill probably saw in her a rubber stamp that would raise his children.

The writer of the article decides to put an aside to Microsoft in the title for what reason? Bill Gates hasn’t been involved in Microsoft’s business for over a decade.
That said, I don’t care for the man’s politics or his foundation.

Heard a report about “new/daily” CV “deaths” in our area yesterday afternoon. IIRC the number was 7. Two female and 5 males. All over 70, all with underlying conditions. Still listed as cv “deaths”. Cha ching! At least the news speaker mentioned the “underlying cause” component.
Well it probably won’t be bothering them very much. Is their super yacht still in the works or did they give that up. Heard it was fake news anyway. Butt, why would there be reports of them being interested in a $500+ million H2 powered yacht to begin with?
They mentioned underlying, wow, that will end their career by the weekend.
