What if he bought a gun from the underground ( lots of shootings in the city were from guns purchased illegally ).
You're killing me...of course, gun control didn't and couldn't save John insofar as a deranged guy sought him out. Indeed, weapons make their way into prison - what fool thinks we can achieve "gun safety" in a free society if you can't get that in jail? It's almost like they want to limit our freedoms to a jail-like level.
