When you count everyone with a fever as a covid patent even if they test negative for covid, every death is from covid.
We ARE now being lied to.
They have an ulterior motive.

I was fact checked by fb when I brought up the story about no significant uptick in total US deaths. The fact checkers cited the cdc saying the US has 300,000 more deaths this year than last year. So whats the deal? Did over 5000 people per state on average die this year due to covid or not?

Well... IL mitigated pretty hard, and my impression in the areas I was in was that shopping and travel were somewhat muted. OTOH, stores and traffic in West KY over the Thanksgiving Holiday (all week and the following weekend) were very busy. And about the time one would expect positive reports to go up, there is a bump. Not a spike, but definitely a bump.

IMO, the question is not whether mitigation can work. The question is why we are mandated to do it in such poorly efficient and damaging ways relative to the amount of mitigation achieved. We could do better, or at least as well, with far less damage...
