How Ordering Pizza In Italy Became A Protest Against Domestic Violence
Forbes ^ | 11/25 | Rebecca Ann Hughes

In Italy, ordering a pizza can save a life.

In August, a 35-year-old woman called the police and pretended to order a pizza to save herself from her abusive partner. The agent who responded understood the request for help, sent officers to the address she provided for the "pizza delivery", and the man was arrested.

In honor of the International Day to End Violence Against Women, held annually on November 25, charity ActionAid has launched a campaign to raise awareness about the lack of support for women in danger from domestic violence in Italy.

Italy's coronavirus lockdown has been an "accelerator" for violence against women and femicides. Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said yesterday that the restrictive COVID measures in Italy "involuntarily created profound distress."

>>has launched a campaign to raise awareness about the lack of support for women in danger from domestic violence in Italy.

Does this include raising awareness of abusive lesbians in domestic relationships?

Here in the United States, calling 911 to “order pizza” is unofficially considered a domestic violence duress code.
Remember “I’m in a Flank 2 Position”?

Hesus, women admit to provoking men and instigating fights, and assaulting men at higher rate than men assault women

In gynocentric cucked countries women can embezzle and attempt murder and the system lets them off

Can the men order pizza too?

I think all domestic abuse is wrong.

And plenty of mothers abuse their children. Sometimes they even kill them in the home or in the car.

But some young women seem to think that women are non-violent, non-abusive, and never wrong.

I do as well

But gynosocieties and fem groups all push the lie that its only one way. Also helps keep all societal programs and resources concerning it, flowing only to women as well.

That is not as commonly understood as you think. Just listened to a 911 call from 2019. You can tell by the operators voice he thinks she has the wrong number. He sounds incredulous. Kind of like people calling 911 about the wrong chicken mcnuggets. He tells her she has called the wrong number

She is finally able to get through to him that something is wrong.

I think these 911 operators pick up far more mis-dialed calls than we can imagine.

People aren't dialing three digits incorrectly, they're dialing a 9 to get out of an internal office or hotel line, 1 to start a phone number, and then 1 because they're not paying attention or because they're half asleep. Many of these companies will go straight to a 911 operator once these three numbers are hit in sequence without requiring the first 9 to get out of the building.

I think it's easy to think the 911 operator isn't on the ball, but without prior training to anticipate this, how is he or she to know?

Wouldn’t the abuser become immediately suspicious at only dialing 3 digits for a pizza??

Is that a specific call you’re referring to? was there a specific point in time when they notified 911 operators that this was a distressed signal? I think I only heard about this in the last year.

Is there an alternate code? If one’s abuser knows that you would never order pizza it would be suspicious.

Well 911 operators do get a lot of calls that maybe aren’t cranks but are done by stupid people. I’m assuming you have to have a certain level of training to be a 9-1-1 operator. You don’t just walk off the streets and start answering calls.

You can punch in a bunch of numbers. But as long as the first three are 9-1-1, the rest of the digits won't do anything.

Some of the most gawd-awful, violent and cruel abusers are lezbo’s.

Women openly talk about assaulting male partners. “If he comes home with another bowling ball, I’ll knock him into the middle of next week”

Not like we have rotary dial phones. Cellphones or push button are easy to mask not pushing a button. Calling 911 and acting like you are pushing additional nu8mbers is easy.
