Just how warm Earth stays this December will determine if 2020 goes down as the hottest year on record. And it’s looking a lot like it will.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration calculated Monday that last month globally was the second hottest November on record, behind only 2015. Yet NASA and a European climate monitoring group said it was the hottest November on record. NASA has coverage over the poles that NOAA does not — and both the Arctic and Antarctic were very warm in November, NOAA climate scientist Ahira Sanchez-Lugo said to explain the difference.
Earth’s temperature in November was 56.95 degrees Fahrenheit, which was 1.75 degrees above the 20th century average, according to NOAA. Nearly 7 percent of the world had record-warm November temperatures, including Australia and Norway.
Using NASA data, if December is just 0.59 degrees above the 1980 to 2010 average, 2020 should be the hottest year on record.
NASA and NOAA records go back to 1880. Emissions from the burning of coal, oil and natural gas cause the planet to warm.

2020 likely to end up hottest year on record . . . for the Democrats. It ain’t over yet!
ON RECORD! Hotter years NOT considered prior to record keeping.
Saving this read for tomorrow’s snowstorm.
Pa is looking at nearly two feet of snow tomorrow so much for penguins running around Philadelphia
But it should be the coldest since nobody was getting out of the house spewing CO2 because of the plague.
Haven’t they been posting reports like this for years? Weren’t the polar ice caps supposed to be gone by about now? Supposedly the hole in the ozone above Antarctica is closing up now.
So, the year everyone stayed home and didn’t drive or fly as much was the hottest?
I did the math based on the estimated age of the planet (~4.5bn yrs), and their “record” is to the age of Earth what 1 second is to approximately 129 years.
Note: this is an extremely charitable comparison and assumes the accuracy and precision of temperature data collected when people were driving the Model T.

Ah yes of course lets remind folks about global warming so the green new deal is easier to accept next year
Good thing, too. All that heat has really dropped the number of flu deaths this year!
Apparently only data from 1880 forward count. Guess everything else is merely anecdotal.

Wish I’d fell asleep back in March...
2020 emissions worldwide were greatly reduced because of the lockdowns, a dream come true for the left, but the climate got warmer. Hypothesis proven wrong.
One of the inner-most ring members, driving “global warming” and other leftist “critical theories,” is:

Its been a while since we got 2 feet of snow.
Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
After 15 years, the cumulative temperature increase should be at least 1.5 deg C given the resolution of the temperature measuring system is about 0.1C. But it's just not happening - kind of like the sign put up by the Obama Admin in 2009 that informed visitors to a national park glacier that the glacier would melted away by 2016 . In reality, the glacier actually grew in size.
These conceited imbeciles think they are the center of the universe, so of course they believe that they can control the temperature of the planet. Maybe someday we can get them to agree to a solar expedition for a closer look of how to solve this crisis.
