Fox News Channel on Tuesday night declared that Democrats would retain control of the House of Representatives, picking up at least five seats.
The channel did not identify key pickups for Democrats and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, or regional trends, or identify how the projection was developed when it was announced before 9:30 p.m.
The Associated Press had yet to declare a winner in many contentious races when Fox News made the announcement.

I’m never going back, including for the “conservative” evening commentary shows that finance Chris Wallace and the rest of the liberal news crew.
Why you do this to us? Geez.
Actually, I love to look at old, wrong, news.
It happens far more often than we think. When I got my first VCR in the early 80’s I started taping newscasts. Newspaper people thought a little more before committing to print (at that time) but TV people said anything, thinking it was all gone in the ether.
It was an eye-opener to me that three days later the news report would be completely WRONG.

How did I hit that twice?
Who was the person who made this statement and had the authority to have it posted/stated by Fox News? Insider anti-Trump person, top Fox executives, the janitor?
Just lucky, I guess.
Sometimes a mouse will send double-click even though you only pressed it once, and the "Post" button sees it as two single-clicks and processes two clicks.
Same time stamp....
It’s a skill....
Gee, vote fraud works great.
Who can forget the famous Harry Truman “non win”.
I first stopped watching Fox News back in 2000, when they called Florida for Gore before the polls were closed in The Panhandle. After 9/11, I started watching them again. I eventually moved away from O’Reilly and Hannity too. There wasn’t really any reason to watch either of them, because both had their radio programs, and they basically talked about the same stuff on the radio as they did on their TV shows. After I retired in 2003, my schedule changed. I got into the habit of staying up until 3 or 4 a.m. every morning, so I wasn’t watching Fox & Friends either. My schedule just evolved so that I was watching less and less of Fox News, and doing other things instead. When Obama got elected, I stopped watching Fox News completely. I couldn’t stand seeing his ugly puss, and hearing he disgusting voice every day, and Fox News did air all his live events, and played clips of him just about every day. I turned it off one day, and never turned it back on. I don’t watch any TV news, not even the local news here. I can easily keep up with what is going on in the world on FR, and thedonald.win.
FR threads are far more informative and entertaining....frankly I just can’t watch too many people on the tv...even Hannity God love him but he never gets to the point it seems...
People need to be reminded how Fox ran interference for the Democrats in this election
Dems lost 10 house sets. Fox news wrong.

That fat f*** Chris Stirewalt is a disgusting piece of crap.
KcuF Foxnoise...
My main problem with Hannity, was that he regularly failed to follow up on comments made by liberals he had on both his radio, and TV show. He missed a lot of opportunities to counter what they said. I'd be yelling at the car radio, and the TV set, things he should have been saying to them...examples of what he should be countering them with...but he never did. I don't know how he's lasted this long to tell you the truth. He's not that good.
I watch less and less of Fox News, but I haven’t seen Fatso Stirewalt since election night.
