What I have not been able to figure out is how there were a number of Republican candidates who won in areas where President Trump lost. How could Trump votes or ballots be thrown out while retaining favorable figures down ballot?

OK, Biden/Collins, mixed ballot, but that is not the same thing as faked ballots, lost ballots, stuffed ballots, etc. By your explanation it could be Republican voted down ballot, but Trump not voted by same ballot.
