Spot on, old timer. Just look at the North Korea threads that went from serous thoughtful academic discussion, debate, OSINT, satellite photos, South Korea newspaper translations, arguments/analysis, to stupid one liners, memes, and meaningless photos of Trump handshaking that pipsqueak persecutor of Christians, communist dictator Kim Jong Un.

Well, there are a number of members with the strong stink of loser-think on here. So be careful of that for which you ask.
I am a conservative. But I don’t ascribe to the cult-like love people have for Trump. I like some of his policies, but the adulation, almost worship that people have for him is utterly disgusting, he’s just a brash, bragging real-estate hustler from New York; happens to be right on some essential things like China, Islam, and the border, but not a person worthy of the worship he gets.
FR's "Reality-based Community" seems to be shrinking.

Shan - agree!! The emotional outbursts and nonsensical replies have become the norm. I come to FR to hear like-minded persons speak from their knowledge and experience about the topic at hand, and exchange thoughts and opinions with other Freepers. I have, indeed, learned much, am a stronger conservative, better at defending the cause much better - for which I am thankful.
You did notice the gains the GOP make with black and Latino voters, yes?
You did notice that Pelosi’s leadership boasted about gaining 2-30 House seats, yet they had a net loss of 10, yes?
We can survive the loss of the presidency for 2 years.
As you would expect, people (including Freepers) are a little beside themselves.
Perhaps you can cut them some slack just this once.
Its a hail mary ploy. But thats OK. This thing is going to end up with executive action being taken. First Trump has to let all the officials in the swing states certify their fraud. Which was today.
We fought in 2020. How did that turn out?

We lost the presidency, will probably keep the Senate, made inroads in the House, held on to (I believe) every state legislative majority we had before, and even flipped some (New Hampshire).

I voted for Trump but didn’t like him much. However, despite all opposition - probably the most of any president in history except for Lincoln - he’s done a lot of remarkable stuff. Peace in the ME, for one thing.
The problem is that his fans here are not doing him any favors by attacking anybody they think is not 100% positive. I don’t think even Trump wants you to think Trump is God.
That said, the election needs to be contested because the Dems clearly had to summon up last minute fraud. Trump was unexpectedly more popular in general, especially with Dems’ formerly captive groups, blacks and Hispanics. They appear to have left the plantation because they actually wanted to be free to have good futures with their own achievements, and Trump gave the the courage to do this.

The love people have for Trump is because he is a fighter and we are so used to seeing conservatives roll over and tuck their tails between their legs. He earns a lot of the love because he is a fighter and we’ve long wanted a fighter on our side.
Sure he can be abrasive at times and has a ‘yuge’ ego at times but that is all part of what makes him effective and bold enough to stand up to the challenges. I’m not sure if anyone else could have survived the last 4 years of grilling day after day without folding.

No we haven’t.
So far there has been a full out attempt to steal the presidency, but the fight isn’t over until or unless President Trump says it is.
Of course it isn’t anything but Kabuki theater. Electors that were not certified can’t vote on anything.
Certainly the headline “Trump takes Nevada” is nonsensical.

We made gains because their fraud was focused senate and president, in states where they had democrat ags and sos/governors to cover their tracks. GA is special exception because GA had had wimpy spineless GOP with cheap sales tags, as far back as I can remember. 22 will be a democrat landslide if 45 doesn’t get his second term. Can’t beat who counts the votes
