People are desperate to hear some news that indicates a Trump win. The unelected GOP electors casting votes does nothing but potentially serve some back-up in the event of a successful overturning of the election.

It’s like adults playing pretend and dressing up. Think of a Renaissance fair or adults dressing like their favourite superheroes
Nope. I saw someone make that comment and I think it fits.
People are misunderstanding what is taking place as shown by that persons post that really believes media is lying about the official votes being cast for Biden.
Maybe this will make a difference later. But right now it does not. They are not official votes.
This is not a faithless elector situation.
This is a rogue competing set of electors...not even officially sanctioned by the legislature as seen by the comment of the Republican Speaker in Michigan

If you don't do this now there will be no way these can be used later so obviously it matters.
They are pretend electors at this point. Maybe it will have bearing later. I don’t know...but right now they do not.

I miss oktoberfest celebrations this year. Not the same drinking out of your Stein at home.
I didn’t use that word but it is a way that supposed “adults” justify the childish activity of “dressing up” like small children do.

And, that will have what effect? Biden will still be inaugurated in January regardless of this farce.
