Would he have felt better if the Criminal Murderer had tossed a couple of Molotov C0cktails into the Classroom and the Kids were burned to death?
Would he be advocating that Glass Bottles, Gasoline, Rags and Matches be outlawed if that happened?
What if the Criminal Murderer decided to wait outside the School in an F150 and then runover and killing the Kids in the School Crosswalk when they were leaving at the end of the day?
Would he advocate banning Cars and Pickup Trucks?
The democrat party, its socialist ambitions and its selling us out to China is the biggest health crisis this country has ever experienced.
Lets talk about the REAL “public health crisis”. Doctors kill between 250,000 and 400,000 people per year by “accident” (i.e. incompetence). Firearms owners kill about 35,000 per year from ALL causes (accident PLUS crime). Therefore, physicians kill 10X as many people as gun owners.
And THAT is a REAL PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS.

This is EXACTLY How NY rammed through their unconstitutional ‘Safe act’ ban on certain guns and gun parts-
Without ANY evidence that guns were a national health crises any worse than any other dangerous activity or say things like drunk driving, drugged driving etc- they rammed through the ‘crisis bill, and the SC upheld it (of NY I believe- not the national SC)

Last night I purchase an AR Lower kit to complete a receiver project I bought a while back.
I consider it my just in case Biden, Christmas present. I am not alone in feeling that gun control is going to take center stage soon.
I was amazed at how many lower kits were sold out and on back order. Compete uppers were mostly sold out as well. Finally good quality AR Magazines are kind of hit or miss. I got three more PMAG Gen 3 magazine.
P.S. I going on a boating trip soon and will be taking my stuff with me. Hopefully the boat will not capsize.

None of what follows is intended to be snarky. Ever since Obama took office, many FReepers have predicted apocalyptic scenarios under the heading “they’re coming to take away our guns!”
In early 2009 I got busy & did some research: I found that confiscation at the national level requires far more than a wave of the Presidential fingers. There are conflicting forces of authority, plus checks & balances, that would greatly complicate any attempt to impose a top-down confiscation offensive against the American people.
Obama had a Democrat Congress for two years and confiscation was a dead letter the whole time.
It would require a coordinated campaign of appeal-proof legislation and an organization of available government forces under a united command to carry out the removal of firearms from private owners. The 2nd Amendment would be a powerful weapon against the drive to confiscate; the gun grabbers won’t just be able to assert, “Constitution? We don’t need no steenking Constitution!”
It’ll take more than Officer Friendly politely knocking on doors.
Then there is the potential for civil war. Recalcitrant red states who refuse to carry out confiscation are going to be what, invaded? There are many laws against the use of Federal force against civilians that will have to be totally disregarded, and meanwhile, resistance starts to grow. Swallwell’s threat to use nuclear weapons against uncooperative AR-15 owners only shows what a spoiled child he is.
Finally, I have challenged FReepers who predict kicked in doors and proned out citizens to give me a plan: I’m retired military with experience in drafting operational orders. These spell out in detail the array of friendly & enemy (us) forces, situation, mission, concept of operations (all the nitty gritty details), logistics, and command & signal.
All that is based upon tables of organization & equipment which list line by line manpower & skills, weapons, vehicles and support equipment. Can’t go to war unless you got the right stuff.
Add to that the funding of a confiscation campaign; states have a distinct dislike of `unfunded mandates’. And add to that the stark reality of many different fiefdoms of turf, ruled over by bosses extremely reluctant to yield power to others; this isn’t the USSR.
So far, no takers. No one declaring, “they’re going to do this, this, & this and we won’t stand a chance in the face of such overwhelming organized power”.
And before ANY of this starts, there will have to be national registration of all firearms. I’m sure that compliance will be universal. /s
Democrats have stolen this election, but that doesn’t mean they’re practiced at doing anything else.
